Default 2010 v6

Drove a 6 last night and for the supposedly 300 hp, I was not very impressed. Seats felt nice and tight like sitting in a bucket but don't know how that would do in long trips. Dash was cool, paddle shifters are different but the lack of power and the sound of a sewing machine. I remember when I bought my 95 with the 275 HP, It would fry the tires and set you back for a second, this camaro wouldn't even chirp the tires..

ditto, for all it's horsepower (which is impressive) the V6 doesn't have much torque. For a car to be peppy at that size, I'd transfer some of that HP for torque

Damn Moe, it's just a 6 cyl. and pretty strong for a 6. It also is carrying a few more pounds than the jet car.

LOL Yea I know, they are pretty heavy, does anyone know what their top speed is suppose to be? Hell I didn't even notice what the speed-o-meter read, Probably 120..Overall it is a nice car..But I would need an LS7 in mine

I can't see a NA V6 ever offering the torgue of a V8, especially an LT1!

It's 300 hp yes, but not until the top end, and a torque curve that will never match your V8 without FI. I would try a manual V6 to get a good feel for what they are really capable of.

I drove a 2010 v6 today and I thought it was a fun daily driver type car.

-It needs a tune up bad, you can feel the car holding it's self back
-Once it got going it was ok.
-The windows are small and it feels like you have a chopped top.
-The car rides and feels very tight, the suspension and chassis seem good.
-It is amazing how many looks I got just driving to Subway for lunch. LOL
-This car was a rental and probably had the cheapest interior.
I would like to see what the nicer trims look and feel like.

-For $24K considering it gets 30mpg this would be a good driver.
Sorry to repeat myself but it really needs a tune up.
I would guess it would pick up like the L99 cars.
