Default dash lights dont work...help

When I turn the parking lights or the headlights on I have no dash lights or radio lights. Its like the dimmer switch was turned down all the way and everything that is suppose to be illuminated when the headlights are on is not lit up. I still have the warning lights on the cluster such as skip shift ect... Any ideas what that may be, I was thinking the switch is no good. The car is a 95 trans am. I appreciate any help!! Oh ya I already checked the fuse its good!!

sorry, I see you checked the fuse, try checking if there is power to the dimmer switch. if there is, you need a new switch, if not, there may be a short somewhere.

I'm having the same issue as you. Fuse keeps blowing. Guess I'm going to check for a short on the switch.

I'm having the same problem, but the fuse is not blowing. Anyone have anything new on this?
