Correct part number for stock LS1 lifters?
Does anyone know if 17122490 is the correct part number for LS1 lifters? The reason Im asking is that most aftermarket lifters are in the $180-$200 range, and GM Parts Direct sells a set of 8 of those for a little over $21 and that just sounds too good to be true.
I hear conflicting stories as to whether or not I need to replace my lifters when I do my heads/cam swap at 67k miles this May. And for $21, I'll just buy new ones.
Anyone have any feedback on this?

So the total would be $42 for a set of 16...thats not bad. Is there any reason why I should not use these lifters and go with Crane, Comp, or another aftermarket brand?

My apologies to kp...he was right. The way that website makes it look is $21 for 8 of them. I knew it was too good to be true. I am not paying $400+ for 16 lifters when aftermarket ones are less than half the price.
Anyways, back to the $100 million question...would you reuse stock lifters that have 67k miles on them? Some people are adament about replacing everything, others say the roller lifters dont wear all that much even after a decent amount of miles.

I used my stock lifters with 79,000 miles on them. Still working fine but my cam isnt all that big, I pulled a few out and looked at them (even took one apart) and they looked fine - matter of fact its amazing how nice the inside of the whole engine looked, hard to believe it has that many miles on it by looking inside..
