Rearmount stand alone Hey guys quick ? on my rearmount im doing a seprate oil system for the turbo in the rear, Can I gravity feed oil into the turbo and have my pump pull from the turbo back to the container for my oil? I will have a 2psi check valve in the feed line? Thanks EDIT!!!!!!!!! Now I know you cant gravity feed to the turbo it needs pressure so I put a pump to feed it an a pmp to return the oil. Got it running last night, Got a lil more to do to it though,

It will work but its a bit pricy to do. It will be just like a front mount minus the heat and stress of the motor. Question is how r u going to filter it? **** gets into oil all the time how? Who knows. I dont think the oil will become super heated back there since rearmount turbos dont really get hot. I tool with the concept of doing a stand alone, My conerns where placement of the oil can, Have the oil sump baffeld to prevent slosh where to vent the sump and how, placement of a oil temp guage and level sensor. And a small but stong return pump. I have a mocal its huge lol. The more I look at it the more custom work needed to be done and said the hell with it. I think some one has done it tho.
