On real leather and vinyl(leatherette...aka GM) I have never had a problem washing the seats down once a month with distilled water and Mr. Clean w/fabreeze mixed at 1/1 . Dont use tap water , spring water or anything but distilled ...the no minerals or basically anything in distilled . I will soak the seat down with water n cleaner and used a brush that wnt scratch the leather ( meguirs one is GOOD ) , then wipe the seats down with clean distilled water and microfiber to get all the cleaner off and let them air dry and let the water soak into the leather . If your wrinkles arent to bad the leather as it dries will stretch and alot of those wrinkles will disappear . If its real leather I will use Keri lotion from time to time . I cannot stand the shine almost all products for leather leave . The way I do it leaves the seats with the same satin sheen as when new . Alot of the lotions on the market actually over time accelerate the wear of leather , the shinyness absorbs more sunrays . And dont ever use anything with silicone in it on any interior surface .

My methods are a lil unorthadox from whats typical but it works wonders for me . Pics are of Cobalt SS seats . In the 1st pic , they started out saturated with leather lotion and wrinkled looking and shiny . The 2nd 2 pics are cleaned up . The very last pic of the seats in the car , not bad for 4 yr old seats in a 86K mile car that use HORRIBLY cheap leatherette . I had the same results restoring the ebony pleather seats in my buddies SS .

Check out Leatherique, supposed to be the best stuff out there. I've used a leather cleaner and conditioner (different brands) on my TA "leather" seats, but I didn't have good results with the conditioner, just made it very sticky. I think these seats are vinyl...

The top surfaces are leather on the front seats . The rear seats and the sides/backs of the front seats , headrests and door panel inserts are all vinyl .

If my seats are dirty, I will wipe them off with window cleaner and then use Meguiars leather conditioner, makes them have that shiny brand new look and they feel smoother.

I use Meguiars. They work good and seem to get the seats pretty clean and shiny, haha.

Yep, same here. That is the best stuff I've ever used. Two step process.
No shine, just nice and soft.
Check it out.
