Default Patriot stage 2 ls6 59cc heads a good choice?

Heads Ls6 Stage 2 Patriots 59cc,Do you guys think they will be a nice addition to my setup.I have a chance to pick up a set for around 750 with Gold Double valve springs.I was original looking at some 5.3 heads. But for the price of these if they will be beneficially to me i may pick them up. So would they be good for my setup and how much power should this pick me up. im currently at about 370-375rwhp

From my experience, Patriots are good for 25-30rwhp with the Stage 2's.

With a TV2 you'll need to flycut your pistons.

I installed a set of Patriots/61cc on top of Ed's 232/236 .600/.600 tiger shark cam and still had room. It was around ~.090 intake IIRC.

alot of people bash patriots, but if you check out the dyno section, the last few members using patriots have made good power for them.

We can put together a cylinder head setup with proper milling to get you the best possible compression while keeping good piston to valve clearance. I'm not sure how Patriot sets they're stage 2 heads up, but valve depth & the valve itself plays a important part in what kind of clearance your going to have.

If you get some free time give us a call & we can discuss options with you. The PRC Stage 2.5 LS6 heads would probably be what I'd consider running if I was on a budget. They might cost just a little bit more, but in the long run I think you'd be extremely happy with them. They're right about $1200 if you use your existing spring kit. If budget wasn't as much of a concern you could buy the PRC 215s for under $2000 if you use your existing springs! That would be a awesome option because you'll get all the advantages of a aftermarket casting with smaller runners, thicker deck, smaller chambers, and good p/v clearance!!

It depends on what one considers tight, and as we both know, each individual setup should be measured to be sure. too many variables....
TV2 on 112+4 would be too tight for my bones (street speaking).
