Dyno Guesses & Bench Racing Forum - How will I do?

My buddy just got a 07 GT Mustang that has a Roush supercharger on it and he wants to run me. I know thats the only mod he has is the charger and hes running 20'' rims too. All I have done to my 02 ss is a Lid, Lts, Ory, Lm1, and a dyno tune and Im putting 368 to the ground. Ive never seen a Roush in action so im just curious on how im gonna hang? Or if ill take him by a bit? What do you guys think?

368rw bolt on? Sounds like a happy dyno to me. I think he might edge you out.

But back to the point...How will I do?

It doesn't matter what a dyno tells you. I can make my car yield 1,000rwhp on a dyno.
The fact of the matter is that a LS1 isn't going to make that kind of power with those mods.

To answer your question, those little Rouscharger blowers are garbage. They belong on a V6.
The Mustang is slow. Race him and find out how you'll do. If I had to guess, I'd say it will be fairly
close...but you should beat him by a car or two.

your car has some sort of cam in it, stock cam cars peak right around 5,200. I would guess a Ls6 cam.

Pending boost and power...he could have a 50-75rwhp advantage on you. You can get just over 400rwhp with a 2.57mm pulley (and other mods) on a roushcharger. Stock 4.5-5psi they dont' make much, but since he put this charger on a stock GT< I'd be shocked if it was stock boost/power level. The chargers aren't very efficient, but you can get some 'decent' power out of them. Sadly, he would have been 10x better to put on a saleencharger.


short answer?...need to know more about the stang. Could be you inching ahead, dead even, or him pulling a couple cars on you.
