Default pinging need help
hey, i was ripping the Z today and noiticed a ping at about 5000rpm. what do you think this is from? the car is basicly all stock too

Carbon buildup the most likely cause. Do a search here for Seafoam. How old are the spark plugs,wires and how the fuel filter? Also clean the maf with some CRC maf cleaner from Pep Boys.

ok thanks, yea i dont know how old the plugs are but i just ordered some and the fuel filter is brand new. ill have to try the seafoam and maf
