Default ever heard of these springs?

anybody ever hear of a brand called goldine lowering springs? it has the name goldline etched on the spring and they are yellow? im able to get some used koni shocks and these springs for cheap...but i still want to upgrade to better springs..just wondering if anybody knows anything on these?

yeah i figured nobody has heard of them. probably some cheap brand lowering spring.

I put a set on my 2008 HHR. Not too cheap, about the same price as Eibachs. Alot of the HHR guys are using them because they are a little lower than other brands. Ive em on a year now. Cant complain a little stiff but thats expected anytime you lower one.

thanks guys. im surprised some of you guys have actually ran them. i figured they were some cheap ol springs. anybody else?

I don't see anyone here who said they ran them for an LS1 though. A brand could put out a good set of springs for one type of car, but crap for another type of car.

so true!! only reason is cuz i got the hook up on those springs and koni shocks for a killer deal. was thinking of just running these springs and then upgrading the springs.

IMHO, the most important thing with concerning ANY aftermarket spring are at least these three things:

1. Spring rate amount and type (linear, progressive, digressive, etc.)
2. Free spring length.
3. Materials and build quality.

Ask the company if they can at least give spring rates and free spring lengths. AFA exact metallurgy, the spring may have to undergo a composition test which can be expensive because materials can be a heavily guarded "trade secret."
