Default Ernie king passes

My good friend Ernie King, a long time drag racer passed away in his sleep this weekend. He was at the Bowling Green Fest with a bunch of vette friends. Friday was his Birthday and he spent the day at Beechbend Raceway doing what he loved the most. Some of you might know him as Sixspeedvette.

Very sad news. RIP ERNIE

Now I know there will be drag racing in the next life....Ernie will make sure of it... I just knew Ernie from the Z06fest last year but he left a lasting impression.

Pitt,
My sincerest condolences, I know you two very close, you couldn't help but be close to Ernie if you knew him....

Unhappy

Very sad news, I'd only met Ernie a few times over the last 6 years but one could just tell that he was one of the good ones.

sorry to hear of your friends passing! I guess you have to look at it that he went peacefully, in his sleep. Sounds like he enjoyed what he did. RIP!

Default Ernie King Memorial NCM Brick

Thought I'd put this here just in case any of Ernie's many friends wanted to honor him. Thanks,

Jimbo
