Default Do ALL CTS-V's have LSD??? Need Help

I dont own one but I have a rear diff, took the diff out and looks to be a standard open diff?? As far as I know all CTS-V's have limited slip rear diffs. I do have VIN from donor vehicle and I was present when it was removed so I know it was from a V. Photos would be nice.

Thanks, ( BTW I am searching for the answer )

All CTS-Vs had limited slip diffs however they shared carriers with the SRX and CTS. The car may have blown a diff out of warranty and the owner got a CTS-SRX diff because it was cheaper.

Diff isn't blown, I more or less would like to know how this particular diff functions, since it appears very similar to a standard open diff. I did find that the spider gears dont turn with hand pressure like an open diff though. I have never seen a LSD that looked like this one, all have had either clutch packs in the center or have been a torsen style with worm gears and such.

This was the diff that was replaced under warranty. Trying to figure out where the clutch pack is, I am used to seeing them in the center, appears they may be behind the differential side gears?? Hard to see without disassembly.

You might PM "V series tech" on here and see if he can give you a pic or two.
