I got an LS1 and looking to find out what sensor, sending unit, or plug goes into what hole on the block. the guy I got the engine from robbed all of this stuff and I dont know what goes where.
Round one: driver side, front of block, by the timing cover, straight hole 90 deg from end of crank.
Round two: top of block, behind intake manifold, next to cam position sensor.
Thanks for playing

1: These 2 here?
http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/2/3840/4721/22099860138_large.jpg
The one on the left is a hole that doesn't need any plug, the one on the right is a Freeze Plug installed from the Factory.
2: Oil Pressure Sensor.
Is the Crank Sensor still inplace behind the Starter?

No. The hole I was talking about is in the side of the block in the same area. The hole is threaded also. I don't know how to post a pic from my iPhone or I would

The hole next the cam position sensor is for the oil pressure sending unit. The holes in the side of the block are coolant plugs.... http://mycarpics.shutterfly.com/193
Heres a pick of the oil pressure switch. Tall black post above the clutch. http://mycarpics.shutterfly.com/202

I highly suggest either buying or downloading a schematic for an 4th Gen. It pretty much has all the diagrams and labels you need, complete with part numbers so you can order what your missing. Would make it easier.

Where can I get a schematic that would be great
As a reminder this game is done by professinals. Any attempt to recreat any of the things seen in this post may/will have serious reprocussions from the misses.

Do you see it in my pic?
Take the pic I posted and circle the area that it's in..save it, then re-attach it and post it.
