Staggered setup 19/18" Do you need anything special in brakes/rotors?
I now have a staggered setup on my Hawk (19/18") and I was wondering if there are any special upgrades do consider when replacing rotors and pads now. Do the Corvette's have anything different like larger rotors in front or back or, a different abs computer programing? I do get a bit of the jerking on braking now with a staggered setup...and I was wondering if there are any upgrades that could stop that or improve the braking. No error codes thrown...just some jerking with harder braking.

You are probably on the verge of pissing off the ABS,
you're about 5% different wheel rate with equal height
tires (particulars, dunno).
Not much you can do about that, besides go to same
diameter. Which I doubt is in the plan.
Wonder if any smart guy is selling modified ABS blocks
that work with staggered. Seems like it should be
possible, but maybe too much work or knowledge
required.

I have a Hypertech programmer and I adjusted the tire height differnce with front and rear. Maybe I need to tinker with that more...I wonder if it will make a difference if I go up or down on rear tire height.

If you want more braking power, and you have plenty of wheel for it, then I'd move up to StopTech kit. 13" rotors, real 4-piston calipers mounted rigidly (no flex). More swept area, huge choices of brake pads (though they come with some HPS's as part of the kit). And because the rotors are 2-piece, there is less rotational mass and unsprung weight too, which help performance all around as you are losing flywheel mass.
