Default rear o2 signal wire?

trying to find the signal wire on the rear o2 i have 2 white ones one black and one grey. im trying to splice the signal wire from one o2 into the other one. as i only have one functioning cat it will only be like this until i pass emissions. do you guys think this temperary fix will have any detrimental effects on my motor?
