Default Alright tried a search need helpi

I have done brake pads before on my car and never ran In To this problem went to advanced and got some brake pads. changed them out and press the pistons all the way in and as I was putting the caliper back on bracket over the rotor it won't fit. the problem is the new brake pads have to much pad? The piston is all the way back. Is this normal it doesn't sound right I made sure everything went back the way I took it off. Any advice would be appreciated I went ahead and put old pads vack on for now

Are you sure you got the correct brake pads, because it sure doesn't sound like it to me.
