Default How did your spec twin disc clutches line up?

We took mine apart and I cant remember how the disc's were arranged. Were they aligned with each other or were they staggered? THeres no markings saying so and I just can't remember. Anyone have one or remember how there disc's when installed? Thanks

You need a clutch alinment tool and make sure they face the correct way. I tried to align my steet twin without one and it was impossible

Alignment tool I have
Clutch discs are facing the correct way, How are the clutches placed in there? Aligned with each other or are they staggered?

Its all got to be perfectly aligned with the pilot bearing, so the input shaft can slide straight in then tightened down the bolt to spec. If they are staggered youll never get the trans on. It took me a few tries to get it right. A trans jack helps a ton. Oh and those cone shaped alignment tools wont work, You need the imput shaft looking one.

Hes talking about how to put on the 2 disks...regarding puck alignment to one another...same spot or staggered...I dont think it matters as theyre both balanced and round...its not like one is heavy on one side and the other has to be installed opposite to make it balanced
