Default Real world numbers.

I have herd the general rule that 100 hp shot of juice takes about 1 sec off a vehicles 1/4 mile time. Who has numbers of on and off the bottle, preferably on the same night to take out as many variables as possible. Also some info on if you spray off the line or with a window switch. Thanks a million. Looking to see if the rule is close to true.

My old car with a hsw wet kit went from a 13.14@106.7 to a 12.39@117 on a 100 shot with the window switch set from 3000-5700 with around 800psi. It was with a stock stall so it didnt spray right away

You are going to have a huge variety of answers and it all comes down to the rest of your setup. A general theme is that the faster you go the more hp its going to take to go faster. For example the poster above lost almost .8 on a 100 shot. Now if you put a 100 shot on a 10 sec. car you will probably only gain .5 or so. But if you have a car that is built for N20 with a tight converter it might not launch well on motor, but on the bottle it will flash a lot higher and result in huge 1/4 gains. So it really does depend on the rest of the setup, and how fast you are already going NA.

I am looking to hit 13.8 N/A next time out. My converter was chosen for nitrous at 2600. I know there are plenty of variables that is why I asked this question. To get an idea of what people gained with there setup on the 100-125 shot.
Another thing is this is a truck the weighs 4500 plus me. Again lots of variable and that is why I asked the question to see what happens in hopefully 10+ different set ups.

With the mods in my sig. I ran a 13.8 with 2.0x 60ft, NA. On a small 50 shot ( i know not 100) on a window switch set at 3100-5800 with first gear lock out, I ran a 13.24@105, (high altitude kills) My trap on motor was 100mph so I gained about .6 and 5 mph on a small 50 shot.

Wow 1.4 seconds would be awesome! I certainly am not setting that as my goal but that would be great. Did you spray off the line? I am assuming you have a tight converter that nitrous helped open it up?

Its all about hooking with the nitrous and having the right stall/gear to hit it hard off the line without blowing the tires off and enough gear on the spray to get it down to the big end. If its already redlining at the stripe, too much gear. You want it to be at the top of 3rd at the finish line on the spray, not shifting into overdrive. And youll want to not blow the tires off and get a slower 60 ft on the spray then have to backhalf all your et back. Im sure you probably already know this stuff but just somethings for you to think about when installing your nitrous kit.

That 60 ft time is insane!!!! That is exreamly low for a 11 sec car isn't it?

i'm in the process of moving up to a 150 shot, bigger stall, hci, and full front suspension, roll bar, drag seats etc. I'm looking to go 9.9s on stock bottom end. Oh yea also moving up to 4.10s and a 12 bolt....dont think the 10 bolt is going to go to much further

Sounds like big money, and lots of work! Why a bigger stall? I would think with nitrous you are already stalling around 3500 seems pretty hight to me. Again I don't know these cars all that well.

The looser the better on the stall, as long as you don't blow through it. I have a SS4000 stall and I was told if I ever do get a N2O kit and spray that it would be good to go.

yup i have a very tight 3k stall and on spray its not bad, but there is room for improvement. I am setting the car up to run n/a and then the spray is just an addition. With the cam i'm going with its going to need the stall i'm looking at 4200-4400

This last Saturday I was doing 11.8x/11.9x @117 with 1.6x 60ft on my N/A runs, same day I went 10.86@127.52 on a 150 shot with a shitty 1.54 60ft, you can tell by my vid of it that it seem to be slightly spinning first and second, the juice is set up on a 3K to 6200 window switch, straight hit off the line launching at 6K rpm though an LS7 clutch, mods are in sig.
