Default is a shift kit worth putting in.. newbie needs help!!

k i am putting a 88mm turbo on a ls1 and am going to change my torque converter for my 4l60e what stall should i go 2400-2800 or 2800-3200 or up?? at the moment my engine is bone stock i will build the engine to handle more boost down the road..definitely changing my injectors and maybe cam & springs..

and is it worth putting a trans co shift kit in or can a tuner do that for me as in make shifts firm this is my first fuel injected car so this tuning is all new..

thanks guys..

heres my build..

88MM on a stock motor and trans? Go to the Forced Induction Section and talk to some of the guys there. Spend the money now to up grade or you won't have anything to work with when you break the stock parts. Turbo converters are purpose built for the combo you are creating. Lots of vendors here to help. Also with the trans upgrades. Maybe trade for a 67MM or something more suitable. 88 is HUGE for your combo. The problem will be lifting the heads, spinning bearings, piston failure, amongst other things. Not trying to ruin your dreams, just trying to save headaches and the wallet. Been there.
