Hey guys I have a 1999 Camaro SS with bolt ons and a new Moser 12bolt going in over winter. I am planning on running some Convo Pro 15"x7.5" in the rear with M/T ET Streets. I will have 4.11 gears so should I get the 27"x10.5" ET Streets? also what kind of rpms will I go through the traps at with those tires and gears? They say you need an 8" rim for the tires but I should be able to get by with a 7.5" rim right? I am new to this so help would be great!!!!

You will be fine with the 15x7.5 rims and the tires should be good also. I will take a guess and say you should go through the trap from 6300 rpms to 6800 rpms.

rpm will depend on trap speeds ofcourse. 27" tire is a lot for a 4.10 gear but if you have the tq you will be fine. be ready to lauch that sucker! i have always liked et drags over the streets for the 6 speeds. just my .02

Gator, so you think 27" is to tall? because all I will have is bolt on's + LT's and a X-Pipe. What size ET Drags would you run that will fit on a 15x7.5" rim? As for the height I thought you had to run taller tires with deeper gears? thanks for your help, oh And I cannot wait to do a 4500RPM+ launch

I would run the 26x10.5 et street or a 26x8 et drag. Your car will bog with the 27 inch tires.
