Default 2nd gen suspension

Can aneone help me w/ suggestitons for my 80 z28 suspension? It is pushing over 400 to the wheels. Which parts are best for this beast, shocks,springs,rear???Not too expensive but durable enough and performance oriented for this monster.Any help would be awesome,thanks

well its a good thing its a 2ng gen-it has a 8.5 rear which can take punishment-but a c-clip elimination kit would be a good idea. Subframe connectors will help with body twist. a good front suspeskion will consist of good bushings/ball joints. OEM will be fine. and a set of good traction bars. Now you really dont want to get cheap here. You can also get different leaf spring rates from dirt track stuff. A poor mans four link will work were you basically use spring clamps on all the leafs and the use of traction bars with the J-bolt option.
