Default Need some Exhaust help.

Apparently the Formula's exhaust is too long and the y pipe just pretty much goes right past. I need to have some cut off and have the y pipe mounted up to it. I was wondering if anybody could help out with this at all? I probbaly didn't make any sense at all. Maybe corey can come in and explain it. My mind is just all farked up today for some reason.

are you welding the y with the exhaust, or is it just clamps? if its just clamps, measure what you need to cut and take a sawzall to it.

I was thinking of welding the y to the exhaust, but then of course if something ever happens, I would have to get it rewelded back and what not. But thanks for the tip trevor. Does autozone or napa or advance auto carry the clamps from the headers to the y pipe?

I meant Y pipe to Header clamps actually. Wouldn't those exhaust clamps damage the y-pipe and headers if too tight?
