Default whichs 4l60e bolts up to ls1

i've got a ls1 out of a 2000 t/a for my project and want to run a 4l60e behind it.
will any 4l60e bolt right up and work with the harness,or does it have to be out of a f-body?what about the 4l60e from a v6 f-body?

thanks

Default 4l60e

i just went through the same thing. according to the 3 transmission shops a called. you do not need a 3 piece 4l60e. a single piece will work, however the only way it will work correctly is to use your existng valve body assuming that it is ok and your torque converter. your original valve body has a computer in it that talks to the main computer in your car. if you dont use your original valve body be prepared for "check engine lights" and pour shifting.

hope this helps
