Default Need alternate LS2 vacuum/boost source for Elect. Boost Controller?

I've been chasing down a boost spike from my HKS boost controller and I think I have the issue sorted. The 4mm boost reference line from the back of the manifold was t'd and ran to the boost guage, HVAC and around the front of the car to both Tial bov's making the volume too high and the signal too slow.

Anyway, I ran a new 2ft reference line from the intercooler (vs. 15ft from manifold and accessories) and the response is 10x better.
Enough that the spike is just a little bump and causes no issues.. Woo-hoo!

Now the problem... Since the intercooler hookup records boost before the throttle body, the EBC sees as much as 19psi on 10psi target and my overboost protection and other features will not work.

Does anyone know another location where I can get a boost signal from an LS2 manifold besides the nipple on the back?

Any APS or other turbo owners have any recommendations on where/how they get a QUICK boost reference source for their setup?

Top log is long *** reference line / Bottom log is short line
Boost = pink
