Default help with tire/wheel choice

I need to choose which tire wheel combo is best for my car. I currenty have these two sets sitting in my garage.
1st 16x8 Camaro SS convert 5 spoke oem wheels with the 245/45/16 M/T drag radials. ( pros- great fit, no issues or spacers, cons - small tire, smaller than my 17x9.5/ 275mm fronts)

2nd 15x10 Pro-stars with 275/60/15 M/T drag radials ( pros- light weight, more tire. Cons- need spacers, very close fitment on the trailing fender edge.)

the car is a 99 SS with M6. the engine is a head/cam setup making 413 hp on a mustang dyno. I also have a plate N2O kit on the car set at 50hp, never run it at the track. The rear is a Midwest fab 9in with 3.70's and a tru-track. The suspension in the car is set up to be a competiver autox car, so there is little weight transfer.

What combo would be better, dont want to over tire the car and bog every run, or go too small and spin them like street tires.

If you are full weight I don't see what you would need 28's.

I shift at 6400 and yes the car is full weight, if not heavier due to the suspension mods.

if ur not gonna be into drag racing that much just use ur stockers. if ur gonna go frequently get a dedicated set of drag wheels. preferably skinnies and bigs for the rear.

My stock/ dailey wheels are 17x11 with 315 street tires, I have both these other sets sitting in my garage. I was just worried about over tireing the car and slowing it down.

I'd sell the 275/60s and pick up some 275/50s.
