Oil Pick Up Tube O-Ring. You replace yours?

Oil Pick Up Tube O-Ring. You replace yours?
For those of you that have actually replaced the o-ring due to valve train ticking noise can you describe the other symptoms that came with it? Can oil pressure be good but you still suck bubbles? Does it come and go? Is it temperature realted? Was the o-ring good but the new style fixed it?
-I have Forged 6.0L LQ4 with LS7 lifters, PRC dual springs, Harland sharp rockers and LS6 oil pump.
-2k miles on a new engine build and it has always had the typical sewing machine noise after a cam install but it does seem a little louder than most.
-The rockers are noisy and I have confirmed this by swapping them out with stock gm rockers. But other noise was still there.
-The noise comes and goes. Have not been able to link that to anything.
-It seems to always make noise when cold.
-Seems to quiet down after a hard pull.
-Oil pressure seems good. when warm I am around 40 at idle. Just under 50 when going down the road and 70 ish at 2200rpm. It might fluctuate a little but what it is doing seems normal. I have changed the oil 3 times with different weights. No real change.
What do you guys think?

Preload with Harland sharp 1.8 rockers was around .090. I had way more with the stock 1.7's but did not measure them since I did not have a different size of push rod to use anyways. It was about another 3/4 of a turn difference. Same noise just no roller tip rocker noise.

Oil pressure sounds good. My stock 02 does something similar to this. Started cold it is quiet for about 30 seconds then it ticks and clacks and taps terruible until its warm, then it has a slight knock that goes away if you run it hard. I thought about the oring for mine too butt the oil pressure is good with 60 cold and 45 hot idle, if that oring was open it would drop at least 10-15 psi or more IMO. I think my noise is wrist pins. I'm also thinking the tapping ticking cold and after a hot restart may have something to do with getting oil back up to the rockers. These are tough engines to diagnose when there is a noise. could chase your tail over nothing.

I had a problem when I didn't replace the o-ring one time. it was a really loud valvetrain noise........very noticable. i have had the normal engine tick and i knew right away what had happened.
I had oil pressure it went up to almost 40 lbs and stayed there on idle, but when i would raise the rpms the oil pressure wouldn't rise very much.

I'm having that oil problem right now- what do you mean by new style? Are there different o-rings or pick up tubes for these engines?
my oil pressure produced no symptoms that I was able to find except through oil analysis.
My oil pressure drops upon accel at a certain RPM and only once the oil is above 170 or so degrees.
It drops about 10psi on accel at 3200-3700 if accelerating moderately. Low vac accel it does not. Low oil temp does not cause this either.
I will be taking a look at the pick up assembly soon.

Can this be fixed by doubling the o-rings so the seal fully forms?
It seems that motion causes the o-ring seal to give, and the o-ring to warp over time. It seems to fit when it goes on, but since there is only 1 bolt, it may move under rpm stress.
