Default Pilot bushing for a lq4

Anyone know where to find one? Any sponsors here? I saw some on summit, but didnt see any that fit my application. Its a 2003 model, with a 2001 T56. I cross referenced the part numbers for a pilot bearing on Oreillys web site for a ls1 and the lq4, and got different part numbers. So I am assuming anything that fits an ls1 isnt gonna fit my lq4. Thanks

I used a stock LS1 in my LQ9. Should be the same crank. I would call GM and see if the crank part numbers are the same, if they are then it will work.

I was under the impression they were the same as well. It just threw me off on the auto parts site how they were two different parts.

Any reason you are going with a bushing over a bearing? We have both in stock. Give me a call at the shop if you would like to place an order.

Is there any reason not to go with a bushing over a bearing? I see bearings tearing up and taking out input shafts. Its the same just as I thought, thanks. I still am confused as to why they would be different on the oreillys site, the one for the lq even cost like $20 more.

Bushings are designed to take a higher load, however, they do not last long in a daily driven setup.

If you replace the pilot every time you replace the clutch usually you are in good shape. Most of the time when pilot bearings fail it usually stems from other drivetrain issues.

Either way, we have both in stock and would be happy to take care of you.

Just ask for a pilot bushing for an ls1? Are there any other materials besides kevlar and brass? Sorry I am so lazy lol.
