Default Ported TB and Cruise?

My car came with a ported throttle body. The problem is the cruise cable won't fit the stud. What years used the same TB? The car is a 2000 and the TB stud for the CC is a flat "T" shape, like a nail head. Do I have the wrong year TB or cable? Any help would be great. I'll take a pic if needed.

Best way to tell is by the spring color. I believe 98 to 2000 are different than 01-02. I put a 99 on my 02 back in the days and didn't get full throttle.

The TB spring appears to be powder coated or chrome. I'm sure that is not factory. Anybody confirm/deny this info with a color? The cruise won't work any, I think I have a dead module, but when I get that fixed I want the cable to stay on.

It probably has to do with whether it was a TCS or
non-TCS car. The non-TCS have a second cable
that snaps to the throttle cam stud up at the top.
TCS cars have a single "gizmo"-to-TB cable and
combine the pedal and cruise at said "gizmo"
instead.

You can swap over to non-TCS cruise & pedal
cables; I did. Don't have the P/Ns handy but the
counter dude could look it up for you.

True.
The 98-99 spring is a gray color and the 00 and up is a blue color....and the truck spring is orange.....and they are in strength in that order.

The car doesn't have ASR. I'm guessing maybe my cable is wrong or broken. The TB is probably off a truck since the engine came out of a Yukon. This is the problem when buying someone elses car.

The throttle shaft can be swapped between castings easily,
you just need a donor.
