Well I could use some advice guys lol. See sig for current parts list. I just installed a cooling mist methanol kit and got my car tuned for it. The issue is when we first baselined my car it didnt do so great. Now I know a dyno is just a tool but I'm using numbers because its the same dyno I always get tuned on so I'll say its for consistency. When I first had Ryne @ CMS tune my car he got 575/547 outta her about 8-9 months ago on about 9-10psi. This was at 17* WOT and AFR was 11.5. Since then I changed the plugs once, put MSD wires on and thats pretty much it. I ran it tonight and baseline was 526 with AFR at almoast 12.0....well needless to say after Ryne played with it he got it to 590/550...the car isnt smoking, was pulling knock but that was fixed....any ideas?

So you went from 575 to 590 after tuning and meth? What were you expecting? What ever Ryan changed seems to have eliminated your low baseline #'s

No no lol...went from 575-526 then back up to 590...I'm trying to figure out why the drop from 575-526...I'm happy with the car in its current trim...I'm just...confused

You should be able to find out based on what Ryan changed. Too many variables to know what caused your loss. You mentioned some knock. That will kill a dyno run.

knock was down low...like 3k and it wasnt from det...it cleared up and at 5K+ it was fine. I'm was planning on running 13psi but im wondering if its just time to put my forged motor together...best bet ovbiously lol

570 on a stocker is doing real good but when you start hitting 600 and higher boost a forged bottom is a must. I wouldn't even worry about that dip in power since you came right back out of it with the new tune.

Just kinda made me nervous...thought it was the end! lol...I just dont get how it droped 50 horse with minimal changes....yea I'm deff happy with the 590...she pulls well...Ryne is pretty good seeing as how my motors lasted this long between 570-590 stock lol

Was the dip in AFR before tuning for the meth? That might have made the difference.

Before we turned the meth on it was almoast 12 she was tuned for 11.5...once we ran the meth ryne fattened her out a little and shes at 11.0 now...I'll post up the dyno sheets once he gets them to me

Thats up to you..But if it was me I would be more than happy with 590rwhp on a stock motor.
