Default easiest (cheapest) way to retard timing

I plan on running a 150 wet shot on my current setup which was dyno tuned at Speed Inc without the nitrous. Is there any way to retard timing for n2o runs without screwing up the Speed Inc. program? What's the cheapest & easiest way to do this?

Yes. When the engine sees high Intake Air Temps, it pulls timing (up to 9 deg?). By hooking up a soleniod and a resistor to the circuit, you can have the IAT table automatically pull timing when you spray.

Simplest cheapest? Unplug the IAT and duct tape it on the radiator or engine. This will pull timing.

I posted about this awhile back. Some people put a resistor in the IAT to make the PCM think the temp is 57, so just do the opposite. I am not sure what size resistor you would need, but you could basically make it think the IAT was about 190. My stock 98' tables are only setup to pull 3* max for a high temp.
