Default Getting a tune, question

2002 Camaro SS A4, Yank 3000 stall, LT's, Cutout. Cold Air + LID

Tune will turn off all 02 reading problems+ Emission crap. + Other regular stuff.

Question.. Should i change my shift points to 6500 rpm and redline to 6700?

Some people have told me not to worry about shift points, just raise redlimiter up 200 rpm. Any suggestions?

You don't really need to go above 6200 on the stock cam. If you're hitting the rev limiter or something then you should probably lower the commanded shift and raise the limiter a bit, possibly even bump the shift pressure up some.

Will this be a professional tune or just a buddy?

professional,

And here is my problem. In the vid, i do a quick burnout and then go, watch when it goes into second, i did lift soon after it when into 2nd.. so should i change my shift points to 6200 and rev to 6500? Or keep shift point at 6, and raise rpm to 6200? I wanna make this tune make me go as fast as possible down the track.

Thanks

The stock shift point is 6000 and the limiter is 6200. I would just leave the shift alone and raise the limiter up to 6500 or so. The ideal shift point is probably 6000-6200. If you also firm the shifts up it may help it to shift when it's supposed to.
