Which exhaust system provides the best compromise of sound with no drone/ rasp, along with solid gains in power/performance.

I thought hard on the Corsa and just can see myself paying a grand or more for the Corsa. I love them but for the price i'd just get a set of LT's. From price checking i've seen most of these systems in the ranges of $400 to $800.

Personally I love the sound of the stock ti with long tubes and no cats.

You left out a few good choices, for example: GHL's, B&B PRT's, SLP Powerflos, etc. IMHO, the only thing you're going to get from a catback is a different sound, and virtually no power gain over the Z06 Titanium system.
IIRC, the only catback that showed any measurable power gain was the Corsa Ti's and they haven't been available new for a very long time and were very expensive at around $1800.
I ran GHL Magnum plus on my H/C 346 and they were great and then went to Corsa Ti's which were even better, but VERY loud. Neither system had any drone. I currently have a one of a kind 3" system using chambered powersticks and resonator tips which I will NEVER change.

Great points!...And your right...the only thing you are doing is changing the sound. To the person who said drone about borlas..lol they are correct. Thats why i went with corsa. I didnt want the touring exhaust they offer bc they are ALMOST more quite than the Ti system. The pace exhaust mufflers hang down...and are heavy. Thats why i paid the extra money to get the Corsa Extreme exhaust. The mufflers are small and the system actually add 5-6rwhp...lol somthin is better than nothin....best of all NO DRONE!!!!...very very loud...
