You should not ask and actually do the measurement. It depends on your heads, if they have been milled or not the lifters and and the cam combo. You can come back and give all the specs and some one who has done it and knows should tell you to measure for the correct length, so am just saying you should go measure then & buy the correct rods. Second, do not presoak the lifters you'll get an inaccurate measurement.

How many miles on the car because if your over 50K there are things you should do and if the car has over 80K then there are things you MUST do on a cam swap.

I know you are not going to like this but you need to do the following for a car that has over a 100K on the clock it is necessary;

The most important you want to do a compression check just in case. Any car with over 100K i suggest but that's personal.
1. Springs (must)
2. Lifter - even if you go with stock replacement
3. Pushrods
4. Valves depends on their condition.
5. Head bolts/ studs (Stock cant be re used)
6. Head gaskets, water pump gaskets, front main seal and so on.
7. oil pump also a must
8. Timing chain
9. water pump.
Those are must

Is it an M6 or A4?

You will be good with 7.400.. You should go with a bigger cam though... trust me you will out grow it.
