Hell, there was a car in our car club who went 11.96 (I believe) with headers and slicks. I would imagine that there are plenty cam cars doing that.

Stock weight is the key.

Yep. On my 11.99 run my 60' was only 1.81, it was a pretty soft launch.

Did anyone witness it. I don't believe it. Hell you can't even do a burnout. Thank God for rev limiters.

In your sig you state that all runs are on stock radials now that's impressive. 1.81 60' holy **** Batman, awesome 60'. I bet you can't wait untill you get your Nittos.

YES, i know of several LS1 f -bdys running into the mid 11s with full weight, all bolt ons, cam, and stock heads. Most of them are A4s with 4000+ stall converters.

2MCHPWR - Your time's and setup are pretty impressive. I have a friend who is telling me to go the same route as you .... gears, clutch and cam and according to your setup it looks very possible.

I'm very impressed with these motors. Great times/numbers guys with minimal mods. Wish the stang could run that quick with just a cam and bolt ons Oh well, my bro is getting a trans am so we'll have fun with that.

there are a ton of cam only cars in the 11's. all you need are some slicks. check my times in the sig. the combo definetly had more in it but i'm changed it up again allready. i think that 11.60's we're easily possible with good weather and my new clutch. my car is full weight and my daily driver, btw.
