Default What do ya'll think of my idea for my Z28 emblems?

I always liked how the black SS emblems had the silver border and I loved how that combination looked on NBM Camaros. What if I did that with my Z28 emblems? I photoshoped it and this is what I'm thinking it would look like:

Well, what do ya'll think?

Looks pretty sweet, I wanted to put mine back on the berger panel to stand out on my silver car, but black/black doesn't really do that =P

Let me know if you try to actually do something like this, would love to see how it turns out!

Thanks for the compliments! I've been thinking of the best way to do it and I'm not quite sure what route I'm going to take. I have a friend who owns a vinyl shop so I may have him scan an emblem and then see if we can cut out the border in vinyl. If that won't work I'll probably have to just do the whole tape and exacto knife route. If I get it to work I'll post up pics and let ya'll see!

emblempros makes something similar and I bet he could do what you're asking for:

Yeah I would see what emblempros can do. I really like that. I am having such a hard time deciding on what to do with the emblems on my car I like what emblem pros has but don't know if I want to go to far away from stock.

When I had my NBM Z28 I painted the emblems silver, then sanded the silver off the face and clear coated it. Don't think I have any pics of it anymore though.

Does emblempros offer it in the stock style though?

I don't want to have mis-matching emblems or have to buy a full set when I don't really think they look much better lol.
