The last pass of the day I tried to leave harder and spun to a 1.64 60ft, went 100.4 to the 1/8 and ran 11.01@125.99. This would have been our 10sec slip. There is always next time.

The car was an 11.0 car on every pass except one which is consistent for a banger.

Sunday the 25th I will have some lanes setup ( could not make the 24th )

I plan to have my car and this car there.

i didnt make it out to 41 i was still to drunk when i woke up. but Nice times larry. On the 25th you will have two goals get your car in he 9's on the jug and get the shop car in the 10's. And seeing your not far off on both you should have it in the bag.

How does that trailblazer feel with the camaro behind it? Thinking of getting one but a little worried about pulling the boat with it.

I've got the straight six version of the t-blazer, and not only has it hauled a car from KY back to IL, but it has also hauled an SBC powered boat, both with no problems....aside from trying to drive too fast with the boat and almost blowing some weak a$$ tires up....

I will be running the car in an 11.50 class tomorrow, but the first run I plan to try and get the car into the 10's. Then load the 93 octane file and work on an easy launch to go for the 11.5x area.

I will post the results Sunday since tomorrow will be a long day...leaving the house at 5 a.m and will most likely not leave the track until 10 p.m or later.

stock clutch..still loving it

stock axles shafts ...well we feel 1 gave up yesterday. I was in the middle of 3rd on a record setting pass and felt a slight vibration midway through 3rd, then a little shift in the rear, grind and then car smacked the limiter. I eased on the brakes and then let off and tucked off the side side figuring we broke the diff or something. The car can move under very, very light power, but otherwise is grinds something in the rear and I have heard the same noise on C5 when the axle shaft or output shafts brakes.

still went 11.17@104 hitting the brakes and then coasting through the lights

yesterday results and DragTimes shows around -450 DA @ 11 a.m for this run. I wish it would have stayed together since the air was in the -1200 by 6 p.m

car is around 630 with the 100 octane tune & 10psi

WOW it looks like 10.80s @128 next time out if the weather is the same. The wheels and tires should make a big difference also.

I think it would have been an .8x @ 128-129 if it did not break and even better if we could have ran in the -1000 or better air later in the night.

The front wheel/tire combo should shave an easy 100+ lbs off the nose.

Hopefully the weather holds out! Feels like it should be late november:bang: I think i need some of that boost:devil: 126mph trap would be real nice. Still taking it to the shootout?

Sorry for the offtopic question, but how good/bad does the TBSS tow the camaro?

Ah, broken axle. Something the 03/04 cobra guys went though a lot in the first years of that model.

TB SS towed it well and better then expected

Hendrixx axles have been ordered and we'll see them next week

MSD 2 step is going to be tested as well

The next outing planned is Oct 25th and hope to grab our #.

So Larry, what happened to the axle, broke or wiped out the splines or ??

CV broke at passenger wheel

The car is not apart, but the boot is ripped and grease on inside of the wheel. The axles should come in Friday, so Monday we should be good.

-Hendrix axles

-MSD Lunch controller


The launch controller and shift light should give us a nice consistent setup next time out and the axle will keep us going.

Good luck on the 25th Larry,the wife and i will be on vacation or i would come out and watch. That car is really making some serious HP.

Are those factory C6 Z06 wheels in the rear? Did you have to space them to fit?

They are 18" replicas and no spacers were required.

That car is bling bling Larry and what other mods do you plan on doing to break the 10 sec barrier?

The only thing we plan to do is make it down the track without breaking something to grab a 10 sec pass.
