TranzAm01 you are my God I want to do that so bad this winter Could you please tell us how you did that. I know it's alot of work with various grits of sandpaper and a rotary tool for the hard to get into areas. Did you use any kind of clear coat on them? You made my night.

I did the whole thing on mine even the bracket around the caliper. Just go to Home Depot and get a round sanding wheel in 60 grit. Get a wire wheel also to clean those hard to get area's. Buy another wheel at around 180 grit and then buy some 600 grit sandpaper, and polish from there or go with some 1000 grit wetsand paper and then get a two buffing wheels. Buy white rouge compound and use it till the caliper shines. The use the other buffing wheel and Tripoli and use it tell your satisfied. The sanding is the most important part. Sand with 60 grit until all the pors are gone and slowly go the from there. It should take about 45- 60 min for each one and just wash them when you wash your car and every once in a while buff them again. Hope i helped and didnt confus anyone.

Look pretty good! The easiest and cheapest way to do them is with a 4-6 inch grinder with 120-180 attached to it,grind the casting flaws down, come back with 2-3 "right angle" grinder with the ""red"" scothbrite scuff pad attached, move slowly over 180 marks(to help ""level"" anything left),till it is all consistent, than come back with the compounds and cotton wheel!!
