Default New Procharger ?????

I was reading GM's High Tech Magazine and came across a story that focussed on a NEW procharger named the F1D. Anyone have any info on this or has this procharger already been introduced to the public.

Yea I heard about this blower...i saw some info about a guy with a built 4.6 in his mustang and had procharger use him as a gunea pig for the new F1D. Apparently its really torquey, with big boost at 2500, but dont think its a screamer on the high end like the other F-series do. Id love to see more info as well but theres not much out there now.

I heard and have read that it is a F series in a small case. Tons of torque down low.

Exactly - this is where I saw the article. They put it on a GTO and according to the article it made 700+ HP at 14lbs boost. They also mentioned that it was very stealthy (quiet).

Just talked with one of the tech guys at Procharger and the F-1D is between an F-1 and an F-1A. He said its basically the same as an F-1A, the only difference is a slightly revised impellar that provides more mid range but not as much top end as the F-1A.

It has the same gear ratio and physical size as the F-1A.

Sounds good. But did they mention if it makes TQ earlier than a D1SC?
I like Prochargers, but i've been thinking about the new HTV2300 kit since it
makes its power lower. But if i ever get the cash to mod my car i would like to go with a procharger. I would like one that makes its TQ alittle lower even though i'll run a Vig.3200 blower stall. Thanks for the info.
