Default Just bought a used t-56, found this on the magnet.

Hi, i just bought a used t-56 and the guy before be said that if you didnt hold it in 3rd gear, it would pop out. He said that all other gears are fine and it did not grind.

So, tonight i cracked open the trans to let all of the fluid drain out and i found these 2 pieces in the magnet, im trying to figure out what they came from. I haven't digged too far into it yet, just trying to figure out what to expect.

Heres a pic, any info would be appreciated.

thanks,
Keith

Broken 3/4 synchro key. Time for a rebuild and upgrade to billet keys.
