Default Breather?
anyone know why there would be a breather installed here? Its on the right side of the airlid connected to black hose.Where do you think its going?

it was a intake hose for your air pump in the drive front fender the whisper lid didnt come with the kit to connect it to the lid

Ok so a 2001 z28 did have an air pump? I didnt remember I must have confused it with them not having the egr.

you are correct. the 01-02 cars have A.I.R. and not EGR

so should i remove the airpump or just leave it like it is with a breather?

The Air pump is worthless you can remove it.

depends on emissions in your area and if you car about them. i pulled all of mine, takes no time and definitely takes some weight off the front end, cleans the engine bay up too!
