New LS1 Owners - Newbie Tech - Trying to find out info on Crate Engine

I have come across what I think might be a good deal on a 6.0 crate engine here locally. The guy purchased it about a year ago and his project went defunct, so the engine was never used....is still brand new, hasn't been taken out of the crate.

The part number for it is 12491857....I've done some searching on the internet, but everything I've found refers to it as just "LQ4/LQ9". I know it can't be both obviously, so I'm trying to figure out which one it is. Perhaps they only offer one version as a crate replacement? The specs I've found on it state 300-325 horsepower in stock form, so I'm thinking that maybe it is an LQ4 with lower compression.

This is going in a 68' C10 Truck, and I want to make sure that it will be a good choice for me. I assume it will have the 317 heads on it....what are my intake options for those?

Go get the latest Super Chevy as they talk specifically about this engine in there and what cheap low budget GM off the shelf parts to use to build it or bolt on to it.

If its an 07 or later LQ4 thats the one to get (better heads).
