Default t56 swap help

I am in the middle of a t 56 swap on my 2002 camaro and I have seen other people plug the hole for the skip shift. Do I have to do that or can I just leave it alone. I thought it didnt work unless there was power going to it. Mabie im wrong I have no idea. also is the remote bleeder worth the money? I havent started to bleed my clutch but it seems like a lot of people on here seem to have a lot of problems with it.

It won't engage when disconnected. If you change ECM programming for the manual, then you'll throw a code with it disconnected, unless you disable it in the ECM when doing the reprogramming.

LPP(where I got mine), Tick..usually they are about $60-$80, well worth it.
