Got rear-ended. New painjob? need advice.
Few things. First, my car was rear ended at about 30 mph while i was at a dead stop. One of my 2 subwoofers was damaged, and my underglow was destroyed. I know that my bumper and other things will have to be replaced, but does anyone know about the other stuff? Plus, im pretty sure I am gonna get a new paintjob. If it is a full paintjob (like I hope) i would like to do something more eye catching than my medium quasar blue with a sparkle. I am leaning towards the murdered out look, black on flat black. I already have blue leather custom doors, steering wheel cover, etcetc. So what should i do? Purple, lime green, flat black, original blue, what?

You can't see it but the middle section where the tail lights meet the bumper is pushed in about 2 inches. I got butt raped by a F350 when I was parked. He thought it was time to go...
Then I did this...
Which came out like this...
So in retrospect, yea, I'd try to get the entire car painted if I were you. I got paid $2300 for the damage, which was a little less then half the cost of the paint job. So luckily I worked at a paint shop that was going to paint my car, so I got a deal

Well I can do most of the repairs myself... I figure since I have to replace the bumper i'll throw on a trans am hatch and front end, but I would REALLY like to keep this car. after 213K miles this thing still runs like a champ. So is there any way i could keep the car and still get paid for the damages? they arent taking this car away from me, thats for DAMN sure

Then your gonna have to buy it back from the insurance company after it's totalled. Usually you can do this if you wanna keep it. If the quarters are screwed your in for a hell of a fix. those bitches have to be cut off & new ones welded on. Not easy replacement like fenders, bumpers or hatch.
I'd say take the check & buy another used f-body with straight body & go from there.
