The down side of winter. Good 'ole Ohio road salt. Thankfully (like stated above) it cleans up beautifully every time. I just try to wash it every opportunity I get (when above freezing).

Here are a couple cell phone pics from this past winter.

As for the wheel & tire combo...
I use cheap steel wheels with Blizzak WS-50 winter tires. Blizzak stopped making the WS-50. They now have the WS-60 to replace it. It is slightly different with a higher speed rating. I don't know how it compares.

Who makes that cover and what model is it? Is it ACTUALLY waterproof? I need a new cover.. I'm using the one from my old camaro. It's rough, doesn't fit right, and it's.. kinda hard.

The problem is, the cover FREEZES and then I can't even get it off without it ripping. And I think it's scratching my car.

+1 on winter tires. I've been running Nokian NRW's for the last 5 winters but after 30k+ they've finally had it. I'm getting Dunlop Wintersport M3's in a few days; 225/60/16 all the way around. My buddy ran these on his 470hp SS in the snow and said they worked incredibly well. I'm assuming my wittle 200hp sixer will do just as good.

Holy **** it came out to $295 lol. Is it soft, or what does it feel like? The one I have is somewhat thin, and feels like sandpaper. And since it's hard, it practically freezes in the winter. I wanna make sure this is a REALLY good cover before I go spending that much.

Seeing these pics makes me really happy my car is in my garage all winter. No rain or snow for my Z/28. The comp g is my dd. My mom's C6 Z06 sits next to my car. It's funny, cuz I own my house and my mom stores her car here. She has a house, but has many more toys in the garage. Mostly my dads stuff.
