I absolutely love my blackbird stripes and I get a ton of compliments on them. Really sets the car apart. I have black side emblems to compliment my black stripes. I always told myself I'd love to have a black ws6 and make it a reverse theme of my current car. Go for it!

Im sure that you would be able to use the normal stripe kit as the LS1 WS6 guys use. To my knowledge, there is no blackbird stripe set that is made specifically for that hood. The area where the stripes would go on your hood isnt that different from stock. Each stripe had extra material on the end you had to cut off anyway. The only issue I would see is at the front where each scoop starts. It wouldnt be too hard to cut the front edge of the stripes to match the shape of the hood scoops. Im sure since you did that good of work to your front bumper, this would be no problem.
