I also answered your PM but swapping an 04 axle with an 07 axle will not fix the hop. People on cadillacforums have tried it.

Yeah get sum wheel hop in 1st alot if I dont ease into it.. But I cant remeber the last time i got it in 2nd. And I get on my car alot especially in 2nd! lol
