Its pretty hard to make a blanket statement on what a particular type of engine can take but I can say that I have seen quite a few guys running a 150 shot on LT1's with no problems. There is a guy on CZ28.com that goes by the name RacnLt1 that has gone 11.02 on the stock LT1 longblock and he has been spraying it for a couple years with no problems. He has a NX single nozzle system. He sprayed a 150 shot for quite a while and now is is spraying 175. Nitrous is pretty safe as long as you take the necessary precautions. A window switch is a good idea. It keeps you from spraying at too low of RPMs and shut the nitrous before you hit the Rev limiter which is very important. A fuel pressure safety switch is a good idea also. If you fuel pressure drops off the nitrous will shut off. Its not required in all cases but upgrading your fuel system is always a good idea when using nitrous.
As far as the wet or dry debate--I prefer wet systems but my opinion is biased because I like and sell NX systems and NX only makes wet systems. If you have any questions feel free to email me sales@speedtechnologies.net or call me at 417-581-1175. Thanks
