Default old school Z/28 badges

I've seen a couple people with them. I did a black berger panel on my camaro and it had an RS badge, which i removed. I want to do the old school Z/28 red and white and chrome emblem but have a few questions. Does anyone sell them without the studs on the back? Did you make holes for the studs or just cut them off and use adhesive? What kind of adhesive? and does anyone sell them for cheaper than 30 bucks?? Cause thats the cheapest i found one. I've had people tell me go to a junkyard to try and find one but i doubt any junkyard around here would have a 69 Z28 with the badges in perfect condition.

that's what i figured i'd have to do. Why kind of adhesive did you use? Is 30 bucks including shipping on Ebay the best price i'll find?

I used a dremel to remove the studs and 3M emblem tape to attach them. They have been on for 4-5 years with no problems. You can find the tape at Walmart or any auto patrs store. I can't remember what I paid for the emblems but it was high. I though about it for a while and decided I really want them so I bought them. I have the second gen ones.

I just looked it up. I paid $26 each in 2003. They were new old stock from Camaro's and Classic's. Guess they have been on longer than I thought!

Wink

is this the one you want?
that one came with the studs but it also had little groves that mate up perfect to the grill so you would have to smoth down the back.
i paid about 40 for that emblem about 6 mo ago from ebay.
sorry for the dirty car pic lol
