Default Clutch pedal wierdness

Well my clutch works fine and all but when I let up on the pedel about half way up it feels ratchety. Kind off like something is holding it but then she snaps up. It also makes a squek when it does it.
Has anyone run into this problem? Is there a bushing or something int the clutch pedal that would do this?

It is that damn spring. Its not broke, but binding on one side when returning.
