Question Could I use torquer V.3 for DD?????????

My car mods are only bolt ons, ported TB, stock engine and stock converter. 700r4 is my Trans with 3.08 ratio.
Could I use this cam as DD without any problems or there is another option for another cam for DD? How many rwhp should I get?

I DD my TV3 but it is all in the tune. If you have access to a good tuner you should be fine. I would think the 3.08 might not be optimal though.

you didn't mention anything about headers... even if you don't have headers you should be ok, you won't be getting the full potential out of having a cam in the car but it'll still make a lot more power and should still be a good DD with a good tune. go for it!

you an put any cam you want in a car with stock equipment (ie heads, manifolds, intake etc) The one thing you must do is TUNE. Now mind you that the full potential of the cam will not be completely attained until your supporting mods are in place.

i cant imagine that cam on a stock converter. If you want to keep that stock stall, you are going to limit your choices to some fairly small cams. you can put a bigger cam into a stock stalled car, and even with a spot on tune, youll have to stand on the brakes to keep it from rolling through the brakes. You will HATE driving that car with that size cam.

Now i know that whatever i post, someone is going to come out and say that they daily drive some bigger cam, and it might be okay for some, but me personally i could NEVER see anyone driving anything bigger than like a 224ish cam on a stock stall. it just wouldnt be any fun to drive...

I had TV2 with a 3000 stall while you could DD it it sucked at the track, It would bog out of the hole then scream shift bog scream and so on. It would be much worse with a stock stall!

A V3 with about a 4000 stall would be badass.

I put down 396.4 with the Torquer v.2 on a LSA 112 through a Strange 12 bolt with 4.11's.

I wouldnt do it with a stock stall and 3.08 gears. I was running 4.11s and it was OK to dd in a 6 speed car, but now with less gear in the car, it chugs and bucks more than it used to. Still stalls at lights if I dont play with the gas pedal as I'm coming to a stop. In my opinion if you dont want to change the stall or gears, I wouldnt go any bigger than a 228ish range, maybe 112-114 LSA.
