What will the difference be between a 383 vs a 416 all things the same (same heads, cam etc) for power output and torque curve? I am replacing the engine in my cts-v and am trying to decide whether it is going to be worth the extra cost to buy the conversion kits and such. I am using a mp122 supercharger on it and want to do a budget build but i dont want to regret not building it big enough. the cost of the block and knock sensors and ls1 to ls2 conversion kit will be some of the differences in the cost of the engines? Any thoughts? Much difference in HP and TQ numbers?

I would stick with the 383, because the 122 is not going to shine on a much large engine. Its at its limit for making good power on 383ci.
